I don't get Google+
The name 'Google+' just seems to downgrade the alure of everything else that is simply named 'Google'.
Also, most of Google's other services (Google Docs, GMail, blogspot, etc.) have names that imply the intended use of the product, but Google+ doesn't tell me anything about what its for.

Boogle
I had a conflict between old and new muscle memory today when I typed www.boogle.com. Sorry Bing.

snail mail
I never realized how much junk mail there is in the world until I moved out on my own and started sorting my own mail. I get advertisements every other day for roof repair services. I live on the first floor! I don't even have a roof! What a waste...

Valentines Day ads
I like how every company advertises that their merchandise is a good candidate for a romantic present. Under the "Gifts for Her" section at newegg, I found 42" lcd TVs, external hard drives, and Bioshock 2, oddly enough. What better way to say I love you...

polo shirts always trick me!
Going through my wardrobe, I'm noticing that every single polo shirt I own is too small! Here's what happens: I wear medium shirts, but when I go to the store, the medium polos on the the racks seem way too big, and I really try to keep from wearing baggy shirts. It just doesn't look right for me. So I try on the small one, and it fits great. So I take the small shirt home with me and wear it until it gets dirty, and then throw it in the wash, and when it comes out, it's ACTUALLY SMALL NOW!!! This happens to me over and over, and even though I know now that polo shrinks more in the first laundry cycle than other shirts, I still can't bring myself to buy the medium polos in stead of the ones that trick me into thinking they're actually the right size for me.
If you ever saw all the polos in my closet, you might be surprised, because I am rarely seen in them.
In closing. I wish they had bags of chips that had the crumbs at the top, so that over the course of enjoying the bag, the chips would get progressively larger and more satisfying, in stead of decreasingly so. The way it is right now is just so anticlimactic.

fixing elections...
I like how the term "fixing the election" is used to describe a means by which one changes the outcome of an election to one that is not actually supported by the majority of the electorate. If the point of an election is to figure out what the majority wants, shouldn't that be more correctly called "breaking the election"?
Also, I think this also applies to fixing cats and dogs, more or less.

green apple...
I like how Apple advertises that they are environmentally friendly by making products with efficient power consumption, and yet if you pass one of their stores after closing time, you'll notice that not only did they leave ALL the lights on but also 20 or so laptops and desktops as well as a bunch of glowing signs. A rhetorical question... Do they really care about the environment or do you just want you to think they're not a heartless corporation?

my dentist offered me the full package today
When my dentist told me today, "after we clean your teeth, you're going to need five fillings, a root canal and a crown, and you also need all four of your wisdom teeth removed.", my response was, "isn't that everything dentists do to teeth?" He said the good news is that I only need one root canal.
true story.

Hey Sean! Remember the countless number of German classes we spent coming up with acronyms for the word gourd? Minus the fact that there was always a bite taken out of my sandwich by the time I got around to eating it every day, those were the days, man...
